When Life Hands You Lemons

Life is a crazy, beautiful, and unpredictable ride.

You either allow setbacks to hold you down or decide to choose better for yourself. I've personally had to make several pivots in my life that I never expected, and each time I've been better off for it.

So how do you do that? It's simply a choice to choose yourself and what you know you deserve.

You didn't get into that college you wanted? So what, take that as an opportunity to reevaluate where you want to go. Ask yourself if there's something that's a better option for you.

Did you lose your job? Take that as an opportunity to invest in yourself. Maybe you want to go back to school and take a new career path. Or perhaps this is the push you needed to start that business you've always dreamed of!

Your partner betrayed you? Great, they showed you their lack of loyalty and immaturity. Now you no longer need to waste any more of your energy with a connection that doesn't deserve you. This is an opportunity to eventually find your perfect partner!

Find out that a close friend was gossiping about your business behind your back. Wonderful, thank them for showing their envy and that they're a frenemy. Now you won't have someone fake in your life and that's always something to celebrate!

Did your partner break off your engagement? Thank them, sell that ring, and use the unexpected finds to take yourself on a beautiful vacation!

Whatever your "lemon" is, if you can see the value of the "loss" you can find your reward!
